Description of file in accordance with section 10 of the Personal Data Act (523/1999)

4. Purpose of the File

The purpose of the register is to manage Dingle’s customers’ commissions, customer relationships, customer correspondence, marketing and other related purposes. The data of the register will be used for Dingle’s own direct marketing unless the customer company has denied direct marketing.

Dingle gets the details included in the File from the customer company. Registration of the data is based on the connection requirement in section 8 (subsection 5) in the Personal Data Act.

5. Data content of the File

The file consists of the following data:
– Client company’s name and contact information (address, phone number, fax, e-mail)
– Name, status and contact information (phone number, fax, e-mail) of the contact person of the client company
– Data regarding the commissions of the client company
– Billing contact information
– Billing information
– Data related to customer relationship and other relevant connection.

6. Regular sources of data

The contact information in the customer database, as well as other data related to customership are received from Dingle’s customers in the beginning of and during a customer relationship.

7. Regular destinations of disclosed data and transfer of data outside the European Union or the European Economic Area

Dingle will not hand over data included in the File or transfer them outside of the European Union or the European Economic Area. However, Dingle has the right to publish data which is agreed with the customer when implementing a campaign for the customer on an agreed upon social media platform (which might be located outside the EEA zone).

8. File protection principals

Dingle stores the customer database’s machine language data. Only Dingle’s employees have the right to use and modify Dingle’s customer database. Only certain people have access to the system by using personal username and password details.

The File is protected from outside use. The system can be accessed only with usernames and passwords. Only employees processing personal details have user rights. The employees have written a confidentiality agreement regarding the data in the File. The server computers are in a physically locked space that is equipped with an alarm system.

The personal details in the File are kept confidential. Dingle and the sub-contractors used by Dingle have firewalls and other technical measures protecting their information networks and equipment in which the File is located.

– From digital sources: dingle.fi or Dingle’s profiles on separate domains, e.g. Facebook.com
– Physically, e.g. in events and meetings
– From service providers’ registries
